I would like this feature because setting a goal date in the road dial is natural, and then it feels natural to be able to clean up the goal instantly after it is successful and I'm done ogling it.
So far this is the only goal I've actually finished (I can't keep Beeminding my standing desk because I don't have the desk anymore :-/) so I wouldn't say this is a huge problem. It would be more annoying if I finished goals more often.

Maybe this is off topic, but how do you handle the data entry for that? I am imagining some kind of crazy combo of calendar integrated with your GPS, but do you just enter it manually? :)

That’s a really good idea!
(The way we’re generating the graph images currently makes that easier said than done, so this might be a while, but we agree it’s worth doing.)

Working on this! And we should emphasize that the specific problem is now solved (see x-min etc in graph settings) but it will be much nicer when you can just pan and zoom visually.

Maybe, but that approach makes the solution incompatible with people that are hoping to get one-off vacations handled by this feature as well. In that model the weekend off is just a repeated 2-day vacation, but you could also specify a non-repeating vacation. And your first example of exercising is covered by 4 separate repeated 1-day vacations.
