Yeah I think except for twitter everything on the web should have things private by default and only share them if you specifically ask this per case of in general settings.

Note that by default the graph itself is public (though only linked to from your own gallery, which is not linked to anywhere by default, so not especially public) and the datapoints are private.

Personally I'd prefer the other direction, where everything was public unless I choose to make it private. I can totally see how I might be in the minority on that!

I also take the view that you can just have the best of both worlds by choosing esoteric/cryptic names for goals that are embarrassing.
