Beautifully said! We just made a big improvement to the Habitica integration for To-Dos so this *might* be a good time to dive in on Dailies. Keep bugging us about this in any case; really helps us prioritize.

To-dos as they are currently implemented on Habitica are horribly demotivating, at least to me. I gave up on using them because I am actually rewarded for procrastinating on them, with no penalty. The current Habitica/Beeminder integration provides that penalty, and to that extent it is useful.

But Dailies are the core of Habitica, and IMHO are that portion of Habitica that works best, with a mild in-game penalty if you ignore them, and rewards galore if you complete them. Several of my Beeminder goals are things that, well, Habitica just wasn't kicking my butt hard enough about. Adding them to Beeminder has given me the extra cattle prod zap to get moving on those. But yeah, now I have to mark them off twice, and it would certainly be convenient to need to mark them only once...
