Geckoboard widget
How to make a beeminder widget on geckoboard.com?
1 voteWe believe this will work — http://beeminder.com/widgets — but let us know if not!

Makes no sense
I don't get how this works. I set up a goal and have no idea how to enter progress. How do I get out of this. I don't want my credit card charged for something I don't understand. Your site sucks!
1 voteOh! We forgot to close this – we did complete it; Trent emailed us and we were able to explain things :)

describe what is the thick dark yellow line on our beeminder graphs
I've searched all over the site and internet for a clear definition of what that line is... its bugging me :)
it looks roughly like what your goal for 6 days is from now...
Could you post exactly what it is? Thank you :)1 voteGreat catch! I added it to the legend. https://twitter.com/beemuvi/status/435666106544443392

Add a search window to search the site
I can't find a comprehensive list of apps you can mind data from. I use a bodymedia device and need a program that can work with that.
1 voteWe now list all of the apps you can mind data from on our front page! https://www.beeminder.com/
You can also use anything you can use IFTTT with, via emails to bot@beeminder.com, or – if you program – anything at all using the api: https://www.beeminder.com/api

What time of day does Gmail Zero check?
Not a suggestion, I just want to know when my Gmail Zero goal checks my read message count. It seems to get me at exactly the wrong time... when I've read my morning messages but haven't yet churned them!

Give us a button to reload RescueTime data
Sometimes I fall behind on updating offline time in Rescuetime, and if I add offline time after Beeminder's final RescueTime check (which is the next day?), then my goal doesn't update with the actual data.
1 voteThe refresh button above the graph should do this. Let me know if it’s not working the way you’d expect!

This is totally intentional! Maybe we are bad at puns :’(

Provide high-res icons.
See http://i.imgur.com/SmvhQNA.
The icon on the left is provided by userscript and is 128x128 at source, which makes it 1kb vs 0.5kb for a 32x32 icon, since these are simple png icons.
1 voteyay, we do this now!

I believe this is done now, referring to the middle field of the road dial

Bug - Akrasia Horizon is incorrect if I choose to start a goal with no safety buffer
If I create a new Do More goal but don't start with a safety period, the akrasia horizon seems to be calculated as if I selected a week of safety buffer.
1 voteNot a bug!

Show the list of goal supporters
It's very confusing that one can't see the list of supporters of a goal ( Settings > Supporters).
1 voteSorry we neglected to update this this whole time. We think this was only a problem briefly when we first deployed this, but let us know if it’s not working for you currently. Thanks so much for reporting it!

Change importation default from RescueTime
The default setting for creating goals with RescueTime data is "increase X". But I would like to set up a goal to decrease something (ie, time spent on facebook). I don't see a clear way to change "increase" to "decrease" with the RT data once the goals has been created.
1 voteThis has been broken for a while, but just recently fixed it! We use rescuetime’s categorization (unproductive vs productive) to decide do-less vs do-more.
Cheers,

Create a centralized forum for us to have discussions
I love some aspects of Beeminders implementation, but also have some philosophical objections to other parts. I'd like a place to discuss this with other users to see how many feel the same way, or whether I'm looking at the situation wrong or what, but there isn't a place to do this. Instead there's 15 places where people can sort of do this, but not really.
1 voteWe’re getting one set up using Discourse.org! Really eager to hear about your philosophical objections, Will! Akratics Anonymous is a great place to talk about those in the meantime.

See exact number of words
I'm tracking my word count on Draft, but I'd like to see an exact number for words written (or edited) each day.
Maybe I'm missing something but that stat doesn't seem to be on the dashboard.

Fix the "zero inbox" goals (or explain what I'm doing wrong)
I decided to lower my desired speed of reducing unread emails to zero for the last (hardest) part... I used the Road Dial to change the rate fro -28/wk to -7/wk, and this is what happened: https://www.beeminder.com/mbork/goals/email . Did I break something or is this a bug?
1 voteEek, a bug! Thank you so much for reporting it! It was a weird combination of things with your goal that caused that (like the end date implicitly defined by the target value and rate, and being within the akrasia horizon). Keep letting us know when you see this sort of thing. There’s still an underlying issue to be fixed here. Really appreciate it.

Make it work for Safari
When I sign in using Safari, I can't access the field to enter in my current weight. This is a very frustrating problem — I nearly went nuts (remember: my money's on the line) before I thought to try Chrome instead.
It's made worse that I couldn't find a "help" form. Is there one? Or is there only this?
This seems to be a powerful website, but I'm finding it very, very difficult to access its most basic features.
Frustrated in Seattle,
Brandon1 voteTurns out Safari is not so good at saving logins compared to Chrome! (This problem goes away when you log in.)

one mouseover's logic
on the main goal page with the graph, the mouseover line
"ex out the box that we will infer" - could be phrased with positive logic instead
"We will calculate for you the box with the pen"or something like this.
with the current phrase it took me a bit to understand the logic, even though I imagine it is obvious for you.

1 voteThis is tricky because the pencil icon means “click this to edit it”. So it seems backwards that the one with the pencil is the one being automatically calculated. But the opposite is confusing too since it makes sense to click the pencil if you want to edit something.
Anyway, what do you think of this as the new hovertext: “ex out a field (so it’s grayed out) and it will be inferred from the other two”
Thanks for helping make this less confusing! (And do keep chiming in, especially if you think we just made it worse. :))

Consistently order the graphs
Every time I load my page, the graphs are ordered differently. This means I have to hunt to find the right one - small inconvenience, but irritating nevertheless.
0 votesGraphs are ordered by urgency now, which you can tweak with the panic threshold setting.

Add "rate" to advanced settings
I really like the "rate" setting, but it's a little inconvenient to use if I want to extend my graph without changing it. First I have to go into settings and change the end date, then I have to go back to the main graph and enter the rate that was there before.
Obviously, this isn't too hard, but it becomes a serious problem with TagTime graphs, which hide everything below the graph, including the rate setting.
A quick fix might be to update TagTime graph behavior, but I would prefer the rate option to be made available in the…
0 votesNo need to go to advanced settings anymore. It’s all part of the road dial!
