Give us a button to reload RescueTime data
Sometimes I fall behind on updating offline time in Rescuetime, and if I add offline time after Beeminder's final RescueTime check (which is the next day?), then my goal doesn't update with the actual data.
1 voteThe refresh button above the graph should do this. Let me know if it’s not working the way you’d expect!

What time of day does Gmail Zero check?
Not a suggestion, I just want to know when my Gmail Zero goal checks my read message count. It seems to get me at exactly the wrong time... when I've read my morning messages but haven't yet churned them!

Integrate with Todoist at Todoist.com!
Todoist has awesome recurrent date scheduling options, therefore I can't possibly switch to Trello, but I would love integration of Beeminder with different projects on Todoist.
Would also be awesome if different tasks could be assigned a different weight...

Add a search window to search the site
I can't find a comprehensive list of apps you can mind data from. I use a bodymedia device and need a program that can work with that.
1 voteWe now list all of the apps you can mind data from on our front page! https://www.beeminder.com/
You can also use anything you can use IFTTT with, via emails to bot@beeminder.com, or – if you program – anything at all using the api: https://www.beeminder.com/api

describe what is the thick dark yellow line on our beeminder graphs
I've searched all over the site and internet for a clear definition of what that line is... its bugging me :)
it looks roughly like what your goal for 6 days is from now...
Could you post exactly what it is? Thank you :)1 voteGreat catch! I added it to the legend. https://twitter.com/beemuvi/status/435666106544443392

Makes no sense
I don't get how this works. I set up a goal and have no idea how to enter progress. How do I get out of this. I don't want my credit card charged for something I don't understand. Your site sucks!
1 voteOh! We forgot to close this – we did complete it; Trent emailed us and we were able to explain things :)

Make the page title start with the name of the goal
Currently, the page title for goal pages is username/goal. When you have a lot of tabs open, you can just see the username part of it, which is not helping when you have several goal pages open and you want to switch to a specific one.
Or:
As a user, I would like to have the goal title be at the start of the page title, so I can easily find the goal I am looking for when I have a lot of tabs open.

Integrate with BitBucket
It's very similar to GitHub and the same options would be nice - track commits or issues closed per week, across all repositories or a specific one.

Provide an option to highlight entries the user hasn't updated today/lately, even if the user is way ahead on the goal.
For those of us with more than a row/screen of goals it would be great to have an on-screen visual reminder of goals that haven't been updated for a day (or even just a sort option that puts "non-updated goals" next to the front of the line after "emergency day" goals). Because I track my progress in a few ways, sometimes I forget to Beemind (and naggy emails don't really work for me), and seeing what hasn't been updated when I look at my overview would help me to check things off each day!

Geckoboard widget
How to make a beeminder widget on geckoboard.com?

let newbees reverse calling themselves a weasel
At the moment it looks like calling yourself a weasel for a goal cannot be undone. As someone who just signed up and was playing with settings, I would like to be able to take this off.
Or maybe just a warning that this was something I couldn't reverse?
1 voteWe’re calling this good enough for now — https://twitter.com/beemuvi/status/409821029431652352 — but bug us again if we don’t have that akrasia-proof timer soon.
And thanks so much for reporting this!

Enable zeno poling for notifications in the beeminder app.
Zeno poling is great, but it would be cooler if the beeminder app also had a zeno notification system on emergency days.
12 votesThe Android app does this now (you can adjust the specific zeno start time in the settings, too). We don’t have a timeline on supporting it on iPhone yet.
UPDATE: Android and iOS now both do zeno polling! iOS is maybe ahead of Android now in that it actually honors the settings on the website and you can update reminder (and deadline!) settings in the app. One known bug: don’t try to change your deadline on an emergency day.

Allow me to instantly increase goals on do-more goals without waiting for the akrasia horizon
Sometimes I want to make a goal harder and not give myself a week of buffer. Today, if I want to increase the goal amount on a "do-more" goal it won't show the increase in steepness until a week from today after the akrasia horizon. I understand not being able to make goals easier before that date, but if I want to make it harder - especially if I have tons of buffer space, then I think this should be ok. Thanks
1 voteWe’ve improved the retroratchet algorithm, so the problem you mentioned in the solution you mentioned in the comment you mentioned below the idea you mentioned is fixed now.
Yay twisty sentences :D

Fix off days (no work required on off days even if you're in the orange the day before)
I subscribe to the idea that we should have off days where we don't have to do anything. Currently with beeminder, if I'm in the orange the day before the off day starts, I will be in the red the next day and will have to do work otherwise I lose the goal.
Off days should work so that if you survive the day before, and it's your off day, you can't lose.
3 votesEep, this points out that we really need to redesign the take-a-break interface to make it clearer how to do this correctly! As dreeves points out in the comments, you can do this by setting the break one spot earlier on the calendar than you were expecting.

Make it clear that the 7 freebies includes deleted goals, or don't count deletes against newbies' freebies.
I wrongly assumed that if I deleted a newly made goal (after changing my mind about how it was set up) that I could reuse that freebie in a new goal. The phrase that showed up in the delete message, "reuse the slug" misled me in this regard. I had no idea the url name was the "slug" and thought it was slang for the freebie count. I had some issues getting my gmailzero and fitbit accounts to work, and once they were fixed I deleted goals with the intention of recreating them in the proper places. Now I've discovered…
14 votesWe’re still tweaking how all this works but tentatively here’s the change we’re making, which solves this specific complaint and hopefully makes things simpler/clearer/fairer in general…
OLD: You started with 7 freebees. When you created a goal you used a freebee but you got it back if you added a pledge to the goal. You, confusingly, did not get a freebee back if you deleted the goal (often exactly when people expected it, since deleted goals tend to be errors in setting things up). In practice no one could predict whether they had freebees remaining and it was a surprise each time whether Beeminder would tell you “you’re out of freebees so you have to create this goal with a pledge”.
NEW: You start with 7 freebees. When you create a goal you use a freebee and it doesn’t matter if you add a pledge, it still counts…

Have the current total displayed numerically somewhere as well as on the graph axis.
Right now the only way to see the total on graphs like "Do more" is to look at the axis, which for big graphs can be a little tricky to get precise numbers. It would be nice to be able to see this as a number somewhere, for things like sanity checks (and bragging rights!)

Integrate with TagTime for Android
For the desktop version of TagTime you can configure it to automatically send your data to Beeminder. There's no good way to do that currently for the Android version of TagTime.
If you use TagTime and have an Android phone (even if you don't currently use the TagTime Android app) then you should upvote this!
56 votesThis seems to work well if you only use the TagTime Android app. If you also use the TagTime desktop app then this is not yet going to be useful. Eager to hear feedback on all this!
