Fix rounding bugs with amounts less than 0.01
E.g. if I have 18.0043 units to do in a goal, it shows as 18 todo. Then if I do 18, I expect it to be done but the goal sill shows 0.0043 todo.

Integrate with Pocket
We should also integrate with Instapaper but I have the impression that Pocket is the new hotness.
34 votesWe've migrated to forum.beeminder.com and beeminder.consider.it for things like this but are doing a bit of cleanup to make sure we didn't miss any old integration requests.
Anyway, Pocket integration is done!

Add the option of exclusively adding data by zapier or another integration in order to avoid weaseling
For the weasels like me, having to exclusively add data by an integration would avoid some kind of cheating, because one would be forced to go to a place (I'm thinking about foursquare integration, for example).

one mouseover's logic
on the main goal page with the graph, the mouseover line
"ex out the box that we will infer" - could be phrased with positive logic instead
"We will calculate for you the box with the pen"or something like this.
with the current phrase it took me a bit to understand the logic, even though I imagine it is obvious for you.
Smiles
1 voteThis is tricky because the pencil icon means “click this to edit it”. So it seems backwards that the one with the pencil is the one being automatically calculated. But the opposite is confusing too since it makes sense to click the pencil if you want to edit something.
Anyway, what do you think of this as the new hovertext: “ex out a field (so it’s grayed out) and it will be inferred from the other two”
Thanks for helping make this less confusing! (And do keep chiming in, especially if you think we just made it worse. :))

See exact number of words
I'm tracking my word count on Draft, but I'd like to see an exact number for words written (or edited) each day.
Maybe I'm missing something but that stat doesn't seem to be on the dashboard.

Change importation default from RescueTime
The default setting for creating goals with RescueTime data is "increase X". But I would like to set up a goal to decrease something (ie, time spent on facebook). I don't see a clear way to change "increase" to "decrease" with the RT data once the goals has been created.
1 voteThis has been broken for a while, but just recently fixed it! We use rescuetime’s categorization (unproductive vs productive) to decide do-less vs do-more.
Cheers,

Integrate with Todoist at Todoist.com!
Todoist has awesome recurrent date scheduling options, therefore I can't possibly switch to Trello, but I would love integration of Beeminder with different projects on Todoist.
Would also be awesome if different tasks could be assigned a different weight...
31 votesWe now have this, thanks to Zapier! https://zapier.com/app/min/302/start (Let us know if there’s any way in which this falls short of a Todoist-specific integration or any ways that it’s confusing to set up.)

Make it work for Safari
When I sign in using Safari, I can't access the field to enter in my current weight. This is a very frustrating problem — I nearly went nuts (remember: my money's on the line) before I thought to try Chrome instead.
It's made worse that I couldn't find a "help" form. Is there one? Or is there only this?
This seems to be a powerful website, but I'm finding it very, very difficult to access its most basic features.
Frustrated in Seattle,
Brandon1 voteTurns out Safari is not so good at saving logins compared to Chrome! (This problem goes away when you log in.)

make an android widget that shows all goals
the current widget requires you painstakingly create a widget for each goal. once you have more than 3 or 4, this is a huge pain! could you make a widget that shows all goals at once (preferably scrollable)? it could be a list or a quilt of the regular widgets (or both!).
the evernote widgets would be an example of how it could be displayed (grid & list).
5 votesYes. Yes we can. (Thank you for proposing it!)

Rescuetime "do less" doesn't seem to work
Apparently this is an old bug that has been fixed... but.. I'm a newbie and I can't see to set up a "do less" goal for Rescuetime unproductive activities. It always comes up as a do more.
Any suggestions?
0 votesThis has been broken for a while for any category with less than two days of data in the past week. I fixed it recently (tweet here: https://twitter.com/beemuvi/status/504077042313220096 ).
Basically we use RescueTime’s categorization of the activity/site (e.g. productive vs. unproductive) to decide if we should make a do more or a do less goal.
Thanks!

fix the "Add Pledge" button
The button to add a pledge after a goal is underway seems to be totally nonfunctional.
I want to add a pledge, but when I click the "pledge $5" button above the graph, it just takes me straight to the page for updating my CC info. I have an up-to-date credit card on file already. I tried updating up but nothing changed.
I tested this 6/17/14 in both Chrome and Firefox. the button does nothing except take me to the payment settings page.

Create a centralized forum for us to have discussions
I love some aspects of Beeminders implementation, but also have some philosophical objections to other parts. I'd like a place to discuss this with other users to see how many feel the same way, or whether I'm looking at the situation wrong or what, but there isn't a place to do this. Instead there's 15 places where people can sort of do this, but not really.
1 voteWe’re getting one set up using Discourse.org! Really eager to hear about your philosophical objections, Will! Akratics Anonymous is a great place to talk about those in the meantime.

Fix the "zero inbox" goals (or explain what I'm doing wrong)
I decided to lower my desired speed of reducing unread emails to zero for the last (hardest) part... I used the Road Dial to change the rate fro -28/wk to -7/wk, and this is what happened: https://www.beeminder.com/mbork/goals/email . Did I break something or is this a bug?
1 voteEek, a bug! Thank you so much for reporting it! It was a weird combination of things with your goal that caused that (like the end date implicitly defined by the target value and rate, and being within the akrasia horizon). Keep letting us know when you see this sort of thing. There’s still an underlying issue to be fixed here. Really appreciate it.

Bug - Akrasia Horizon is incorrect if I choose to start a goal with no safety buffer
If I create a new Do More goal but don't start with a safety period, the akrasia horizon seems to be calculated as if I selected a week of safety buffer.
1 voteNot a bug!

Provide high-res icons.
See http://i.imgur.com/SmvhQNA.
The icon on the left is provided by userscript and is 128x128 at source, which makes it 1kb vs 0.5kb for a 32x32 icon, since these are simple png icons.
1 voteyay, we do this now!

describe what is the thick dark yellow line on our beeminder graphs
I've searched all over the site and internet for a clear definition of what that line is... its bugging me :)
it looks roughly like what your goal for 6 days is from now...
Could you post exactly what it is? Thank you :)1 voteGreat catch! I added it to the legend. https://twitter.com/beemuvi/status/435666106544443392
