Notify me when support unfreezes a goal or recalculates the graph
Right now, after I make an entry for the preceding day (e.g. I might have forgotten to copy the # from Habit RPG to Beeminder), I have to e-mail support@beeminder.com. After they fix the graph, I don't find out about the change until I read all my e-mail, which might not happen until several days later. By then, I will be derailed again and the entire misadventure will go on forever.
Since Beeminder already has a mobile application, it would be really helpful if the mobile software notified me when support has touched the goal. I realize that by…

Allow instant archiving of successfully completed goals
If the user has achieved their goal, they shouldn't have to wait 7 days before being allowed to archive it.
23 votesOops, looks like this reverted when we made some other changes to the Archive button. Unmarking this “complete” and eager for more feedback on this — just reply to this email with off-the-cuff reactions or reply publicly on uservoice. Thanks everyone, and sorry for the reversion!

Fetch data from Google Sheets
Simple: specify a particular cell of a particular sheet as an odometer
Sophisticated: specify date and data-value columns from a particular sheet.

Alert supporters BEFORE I derail, not AFTER.
Currently supporters are only informed about it after you actually derail. This isn't terribly useful to me; at this point it's already "too late" to do anything to prevent the derail.
Support an option to alert supporters to the situation when a goal has less than X days to derailment, so that they can help motivate you to get off the coach or whatever it was you promised to do.

Limit for goal dates
They can not exceed 16.01.2038!
Let me know when it happens to changes my goal date from 2038 to 2068. What is the earliest date for removing the 2038 limit? Is it a http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Year_2038_problem?3 votes -
allow annotation of graphs à la SoundCloud
I searched for this topic in the forum and did not find anything similar, however, I apologize if I am duplicating a comment. It would be awesome if we could annotate our graphs and see those annotations by hovering over the appropriate spot on the graph, similar to the way commenting is performed for songs in SoundCloud.
I sprained my ankle last week and had to adjust my fitness goal to be more flat. It would be great if down the road, when I have forgotten about the injury, to be able to hover over a flat spot and see…

Daily Mail/Notification Resumé of Goals
Send daily mail or mobile notification with info about the increases in goals data and the time left until derailment.
This will be great for keeping up with progress and focusing goals with imminent deadlines.1 vote -
add ui to access the datapoints page from archived goals
You can still type the route in and get the page, so it seems pretty harmless. Loving the recent ui updates, though :)

Let me make pledges in my local currency
International (Australian) user, wanting to avoid exposure to currency risk on my pledges :)
It's pretty scary to see the effective value of your pledge go up by a big percentage over a couple of months!I remember seeing a comment on a blog post a while back to the effect that Stripe in-principle allows for charging in different currencies, so hopefully this is feasible?

Allow adjustable start times for Zeno polling
For goals which require bigger chunks of time to progress on, it might be useful to get warning messages 2/4/8/... days out.
E.g. if my goal is "spend two hours a week meditating", and I've committed that all my sessions must be at least an hour, then on an emergency day I still need to find an entire hour spare rather than 2/7ths of one. Knowing that the deadline is coming a little further out would help me manage multiple time-intensive goals deadlining around the same time.

Reward me if I Retroratchet!
has been discussed here:
http://forum.beeminder.com/t/giving-me-a-reward-to-motivate-me-to-retroratchet/744Briefly:
Please give me some incentive to Retroratchet. Make me feel happy doing it. I cannot lose my efforts and throw it in the sea. I know the whole system is just a trick to my self to make me work and that is the point which is achieved by the current Retroratchet system. But that color trick works and makes me feel that the safe days are my bank account.I suggest to make a rewarding trick for Retroratchet. Let's say introduce another measure (other than the safe days and the graph), like let's…

Store Safety Buffer
This has been discussed in the forum here:
http://forum.beeminder.com/t/feature-request-store-safety-buffer/227Briefly:
What would be super cool is if i could "store" my safety buffer for a goal and only apply it if i need it. It's not being akratic because i had earned those days before.3 votes -
Make dashboard more task focused
Currently there's a lot of screen space devoted to showing who I'm logged-in as on the dashboard ("Your Goals") page. I know who I am, so that's not useful information to me. I'm there to (1) enter data and (2) check for goals that need work. The (2) part is pretty well covered, but data entry is shoved down on one side. I'd rather have it up at the top like an "omni-bar" with auto-focus, so that I can update my most urgent goal without even clicking.

Seinfeld Chain Indicator
Get some sort of visual feedback when you have an unbroken chain of daily data entries.
If you break the chain the indication is removed and the graph reverts to standard layout. This way the feature would function as an extra layer of motivation via gamification.
The feedback could consist of a band of color and/or a text-box with number of days with unbroken chain.

Allow for write-protected comments or other arbitrary data
1)Having write-protected comments would allow for a more robust hackery, such as an improved Must-Do list.
2)Being allowed to attach arbitrary data to a goal would allow for even more interesting hackery.

Responsive design to be mobile friendly.
Currently if I am on a smaller form factor device such as my phone. I either have to zoom to see anything and drag around, or if my OS happens to have an app for it I can download it. Two problems with this. First is new mobile platforms are unsupported (I work on the Firefox OS project) the second is that the barrier to entry for using the site is a lot higher on mobile, I have to go find your app in the app store then download it, then I can start doing things.

Include the goal description, entry units & fine print in the mobile app
Please make the units and fine-print for each goal easily viewable from the goal entry page.
I primarily use Beeminder via Android Mobile App. I've established some very specific rules for myself for many of my goals in the fine print. Unfortunately I can't read the fine print for my goals on the Android app, so I sometimes have to guess as to whether or not something qualifies.
For example, I have a goal that requires I complete two pomodoros per per week on a specific project - but because I want to encourage myself to only work on it…

allow a way to change to auto-generated if you started out manual
I started a new goal yesterday and didn't realize that I needed to set it up from the partner apps in Fitbit until after I got it set up. Now I cannot see a way to change it.

show +value in the android widget instead of day count for red / yellow / blue goals
So in this image http://imgur.com/Gr6TUqm instead of

I'd see
ce +0.87My use case: I already know how many days left I have (because of the color), what I don't know is how much I need to do (which is the thing I want to be able to pick up at a glance).
Like for one particular goal, I have it set to 8/week, so the one day a week where I have to do it twice tends to come as a bit of a surprise. And there's a big difference between having to run half a mile…
