Allow a "calories consumed" goal integrated with FitBit, LoseIt or MyFitnessPal
There currently only appears to be a total net calories through FitBit. I track my food intake there, but not activity since my Fitbit flex broke. Or at least have some calorie-counting site that can be integrated.

yes Please! Have switched over to Lose it and while it sends my calories to FitBit, I'm more interested in seeing a graph of how my month has gone in calories...not just in pounds.

Ah, makes sense! I agree this is a good idea then. Thank you! I'm not sure how we should prioritize so we'll see if it gets more upvotes. Thanks again for explaining.

The flex reports calories burned in excess of base metabolism. However, the fitbit site reports any calories you have burned from base metabolism as well, which as far as I know, it will do as long as you have entered your weight. So at the end of the day, net calories for me (since I use fitbit as my scale, it will always know my weight) will be calories consumed minus the calories I would burn if I did nothing but lay in bed all day.
If you know how to get fitbit to do otherwise without the feature, let me know!

Why not just use net calories? If your Fitbit flex isn't reporting any calories burned then net calories and calories consumed will be the same thing, right?
(There are probably reasons it would be good to be able to beemind calories consumed directly; I just want to make sure I understand.)
