Make the goals page easier and more obvious to find.
The goals page is currently a real pain to get to. I have two suggestions to make it easier and more obvious to find:
1) Make the top-left logo link to the goals page. This is pretty standard behavior. Right now it links to your landing page instead, which is useless to someone who is already signed up.
NOTE: To a lesser degree, the "Overview" link has the same problem. What is an "overview," if not my dashboard? But it takes me to an overview of Beeminder instead. As an established user, I don't care about that. I care about my goals. I'd either get rid of this link or change the name to "What is Beeminder?" so I can know beforehand that it's silly to click on it.
2) I expect the "Your Account" to take me to my goals page. After all, that is what my account IS, and it's in a very important position. It's really weird that it takes me to my settings page (a decidedly less important feature), especially when there is already a settings link right there in the hover menu, where it belongs.
I didn't even realize until I started writing this suggestion that there was a "Your Goals" link up there, relegated as it is to a position of tertiary importance, buried amongst links of proven uselessness like "Testimonials" and "Blog." It is not at all where I would expect it to be. (I would expect it to be in a prime position like "Your Account" is.)
I would recommend either making "Your Account" link to my goals and getting rid of "Your Goals," or else swapping the two so that "Your Goals" is positioned according to its relatively greater importance. It should not be subordinate to "Your Account," and especially not subordinate to "Overview."
NOTE: For a while, I was clicking "Your Account" to get the settings page, then clicking the "X+Y active" link to get to my goals page. I finally got sick of this and just bookmarked my goals page so I could get there directly. Surely I'm not the only one?
Try making it so easy to find that anyone could stumble into it without even trying.
