Explain what happens to archived goals.
I can't figure out what happens to archived goals.

Email receipts on premium plan renew or on resetting graph
I just had my first renew on the premium plan, but I had forgotten about it, and was surprised when I checked my bank statement. It would be nice to have been emailed to remind me that I'm renewing and give me a receipt for the transaction. I'd also like emailed receipts when I reset my graph and pay the fine.

Submit data with Shift+Enter
When entering data it is nice to have the multiline field, but using the mouse to submit is a bit cumbersome. Shift+enter seems like the most common way to submit in multiline fields.
3 votesAlice points out in previous admin response that shift-enter is also commonly used to get an explicit newline without submitting so this might be confusing.
But it may be that alt-enter is the right answer here. Note the discussion in the comments about tab+enter and tab+space, which is my own preferred solution.

Make the goals page easier and more obvious to find.
The goals page is currently a real pain to get to. I have two suggestions to make it easier and more obvious to find:
1) Make the top-left logo link to the goals page. This is pretty standard behavior. Right now it links to your landing page instead, which is useless to someone who is already signed up.
NOTE: To a lesser degree, the "Overview" link has the same problem. What is an "overview," if not my dashboard? But it takes me to an overview of Beeminder instead. As an established user, I don't care about that. I care about…

MPG tracking
Currently I track my car's mpg with a google form + spreadsheet but it would be awesome to do it in beeminder.
The thing I think is missing is that beeminder would need to do math. I input at every fillup: odometer, gallons added, and cost (and date, assumed from form input date). This lets me calculate mpg since the last fillup as well as dollars per mile.
Considering you can actually do a lot in personal driving habits and car maintenance to contribute to additional mpg, so long as you aren't stuck in traffic often, it is actually really…

Let Inbox Zero goal allow some slack.
A helpful change would be to allow 10 unread emails before BeeMinder fails.
I often check my email from my phone but don't run my full GTD system from it. So it's more anxiety producing than helpful on net to have BeeMinder track inbox zero for me when it will just randomly mark me as failing for checking my email from other devices.
Also, I've tried to set this myself, but the interface is completely inflexible and won't let me edit the goal to be something like "under 10" even right after I've started. Why is there total lock-in immediately…

Allow me to bind myself stronger by increasing the time until a goal is archived and by restricting the amount of possible breaks
My "problem" is that I can power through activities I don't like when it is only for a short period of time. So even when I set my beeminder contract to a few thousand dollars for the goal of working out regularly, I could still easily back out of this obligation at any point by archiving my goal. From that point forward, I would only need to perform my workouts one additional week. Because of the end in sight, that wouldn't be a problem at all.
To be able to actually make working out with beeminder work for me, I…

Allow editing of data points just under the graph screen
Sometimes I need to edit data point. For example if I make several prospecting calls a day, I would like to be able to edit data value and comment right under the graph.
Example: I do new call. I need to add +1 to value and add new prospect name to comments (I don't want to add a new data point for this day)
Right now I have to open "All data" tab and edit data point there. It's not very convinient

Let us put the graphs on graph paper to combat optical illusion
Because the Yellow Brick Road slopes up or down, there's an optical illusion effect that happens where the numbers on the right and the numbers on the left don't seem to match up. That also makes it difficult to see where exactly your data points are, whether a line is diagonal or straight, and even where the center and edges of your Road are. If we could turn on a "graph paper" option in advanced settings, where the big horizontal tick marks (or vertical ones, for those that want) go all the way through the graph, those problems would be…

status
Include the verbal status (below the road, in the right lane, in the wrong lane, etc) optionally on the goal page.

Allow iPhone users to log in via Google
Right now, I can't use the Beeminder iPhone app because it doesn't let you log in with Google. It would be great if I could log in to beeminder with Google and use the iPhone app.

fix the UI bug where the various elements fail to update at midnight
http://i.imgur.com/1besALi.png
I keep all of my goals open in pinned tabs in chrome, and various UI elements do not update at midnight, requiring a page refresh.
This ought to be an easy fix?

Reward / earning back system
Because I feel like I'm not the only person that tends to feel bad -maybe even a bit of a failure- when they set goals for themselves and don't reach them. It would be usefull to provide these people with a system that goes both ways. Because if you already feel bad about not following through and you get punished on top of it, that's just like a double punishment. So I would suggest 3 options:
It's always based on rewarding people for overperforming.
Have to option to earn back what you lost (the least attractive option from the financial…3 votes -
Integrate Withings Pulse sleep data
Since the Withings scale is already supported and FitBit sleep data as well, I think it would be cool to get the sleep data out of Withings.

Allow data points to be entered as "x*y"
I'd find it useful to be able to enter a data point in multiplication format without having to do the sums myself.
I have a goal to finish knitting projects by keeping track of rows. Since how much effort a row of knitting takes varies wildly between projects I have to adjust the road for each project or stage of project. If I could easily input e.g. "8112" or "2723" it would be easy to track stitches knitted instead to keep track of progress.
I think it would generalise to more than just knitting! Repetitive exercises for example.

Make the Goal Summary Page into an optional Tabular Format
Have an optional main page with a tabular summary of all your goals. Maybe the columns could include; Goal Name, Days to Derail, Pledge Amount. This would be especially handy for those with a lot of goals.

Allow unicode slugs
http://i.imgur.com/pduliFz.png
The desired behavior is to first allow the % character in slugs, and then to percent-encode previously disallowed input. (Modern browsers can display such percent encodings as the proper characters)

Post graph to Facebook when updated
It would be nice to have my graph automatically published on Facebook each time it is updated.
Currently, I'm posting my weight on Facebook directly from my Withings scale. However, this only posts the current weight. I'd like it to link back to a graph, so the number is more easily interpreted.
Additionally, it might be nice if it would be possible to change what exactly is posted. For a weight graph for example, it might be nice to post the value of the purple line instead.
