It would be so tasty!

Create a gmail plug-in
Beeminder already has Inbox goals, and I have friends with goals like "Send X emails of type Y" per day. Currently, these involve manually reporting to beeminder whenever an applicable e-mail has been sent, or the size of one's inbox when the beeminder reminder arrives.
It would be lovely for there to be a Gmail plug-in (which might actually be implemented as a Firefox plug-in), which allows automatic reporting of inbox size (for inbox goals), and presents a "this email relates to goal X" option when sending e-mail.
I seem to recall Google has published an API for client-side plug-in…
2 votesOh yeah! We did this a while back; sorry to leave you hanging :) Check out https://www.beeminder.com/gmailzero/ for totally automatic gmail ↔ beeminder integration.

Allow me to change the settings of a completed goal.
Once a goal has successfully been completed, there is an option to Reset. That button hides the Settings tab. But maybe I want to change the settings: make it public/private, or hide/show the turquoise swath.

Keep goal alive past its due date
It would be great to be able to extend the due date of a goal once it is past (at the moment it seems that the only option is to reset, even though one is on track).
2 votesWe’ve got the road dial to do this before it’s passed, and you can now restart goals that have finished!

delayed launch
I keep getting ideas for a goal that I'm not yet ready to take action on.
I don't want to lose the idea, but I'm incapable of taking action on it immediately.
It would be nice to be able to assign a launch date when I create a goal.2 votes(oops, we forgot to close this in 2012! You can do this – see the comment.)

support beeminding the interval between events
Before I found Beeminder I was thinking of setting up a schedule for events (e.g. cigarettes) such that the minimum permissible interval between successive events grows linearly (or perhaps exponentially).
If you enter intervals as data, does one of the available goal types already work for this? Maybe "Personal Max"?
This kind of goal seems more difficult to report on and comply with than the current "Quit Smoking" type, since you have to track the time of every event pretty accurately and translate back and forth between intervals and times. With a new goal type could come better support here,…
2 votesOoh, have you read our thoughts on the Seinfeld hack? http://blog.beeminder.com/flexbind/
To quote: “Such is the powerful psychology of “don’t break the chain”, also known as the Seinfeld hack. But the Seinfeld hack’s greatest strength is also its fatal flaw: Once you do break the chain, all the motivation it provided bursts like a bubble. You’ve got to somehow motivate yourself to build up another long chain to not break.”
You can definitely do this with multiple of the available goal types, if you do a bit of math first – for example, a binary do-less goal with slope 1 / (minimum permissible interval) which you adjust slope and retroratchet every time you add a 1.

Pre-fill data entry box with today's date
It would be helpful to me if the data entry box on the website had today's date already in it, or I'd the grey example text had today's day of month. When typing on an iPhone I have to switch back to the number keyboard after I hit the spacebar and this is slightly annoying. Also, perhaps something that could be easily fixed with a dedicated mobile app.
2 votesVery completed! Not only have we redone the website data entry box, we’ve got apps for both iOS and Android :D

Only bug me by e-mail if I haven't entered data for the past 24 hours
Currently the e-mail bot, if enabled, bugs me each day. This is annoying as I usually enter the data on the web, but sometimes it's useful to prod me when I haven't. How about only bugging me when it's necessary?

Allow the deletion of new goals
I find that sometimes I have what I think is a great idea for a goal. So I create it, and get going. And within a day, or maybe two, it becomes clear that the goal is poorly thought out.
At the moment, there's nothing I can do about it! My current approach is to enter some dummy "safe" (enough so I wont derail in a week), mark the goal for archival, and then send it to the bottom of my goals screen. And then I have to wait 7 days for it to vanish. In the mean time I…

Allow Beeminder to pull "Walking" data from Runkeeper
Currently it only pulls "Running" data.

Have the current total displayed numerically somewhere as well as on the graph axis.
Right now the only way to see the total on graphs like "Do more" is to look at the axis, which for big graphs can be a little tricky to get precise numbers. It would be nice to be able to see this as a number somewhere, for things like sanity checks (and bragging rights!)

Provide an option to highlight entries the user hasn't updated today/lately, even if the user is way ahead on the goal.
For those of us with more than a row/screen of goals it would be great to have an on-screen visual reminder of goals that haven't been updated for a day (or even just a sort option that puts "non-updated goals" next to the front of the line after "emergency day" goals). Because I track my progress in a few ways, sometimes I forget to Beemind (and naggy emails don't really work for me), and seeing what hasn't been updated when I look at my overview would help me to check things off each day!

It’s currently 2 weeks, with the akrasia horizon shown 1 week out.
See this blog post about the akrasia horizon: http://blog.beeminder.com/dial
We’re still open to ideas about seeing more or less of the road ahead…

Let us pick our own start date
The one week delay before the ramp up begins is unnecessarily confusing, especially because the Beeminder bot still bugs me during that week.

Goal Rate Radio Boxes
I find the Goal Rate radio boxes very confusing. Instead of X'ing the degree of freedom I want to exclude, I find it much more intuitive to select (click on the X) of the aspect(s) I want to include--even if that means I need to click twice (at present I need to click a lot more than twice :-)).
1 voteI think this was from an abominable previous version of the road dial. So I’ll mark this completed for now but definitely feel free to create more suggestions related to the current road dial if you have any. Thanks so much for the feedback!

Make a little progress twirly icon when the graph is being redrawn.
It's a little unclear that the graph is being redrawn when it's just grayed out, and I often worry that my data hasn't been accepted.
(I love beeminder btw!)
1 voteEven better than a twirly icon: a buzzing bee!

Put a 'Save' button on the Avatar tab
There seems to be no way to save the Avatar file to be uploaded on the Avatar tab. There should be a Save or Upload button.
1 voteWe fixed this – and then we recently switched over to Gravatar entirely, so there is no more Avatar tab at all!

add alternating background stripe to Data table
I just edited a comment via the Data tab. it was kind of hard to determine which Edit link to tap on iPhone safari. the links are way off on the right. if the table had alternating background shading, it would be easier.

display up to date goal stats (and phantom data point?)
For a cumulative total graph, I need to report "^ 0" in order to update the goal stats if I haven't already reported anything. It would be cool if this updated automatically — or are there cases where the current behavior is preferable?
Reporting "^ 0" also produces a data point where it might be nice to automatically have a phantom data point, once yesterday is over.
