  1. I would like to be able to sort datapoints based on the comment on them. For example, I have a goal for music playing, but I play multiple instruments, so being able to see how much time I have spent on each instrument based on the comment would be great.

  3. On my iPhone, whether in the goal listing view or when viewing any one goal, every graph appears identically as it did from the moment of goal creation over two weeks ago. =-(

  4. Putative bug: The Expiration month on the add payment form defaults to the current month.

Expected behaviour: The month should default to 1, as is the case with 99.31416% of other sites' forms. It is odd to have to consider what the current month is and so which direction to arrow up or down to, especially since the current month is not visibly related to likely expiration month.

  5. I've tried adding an initial credit card on Chrome, IE, and Firefox without success. The form hits your server and then refreshes the form ab initio, i.e. resetting all fields to their defaults/blank. Importantly, it displays no error message.

  6. I want to be able to make a goal which automatically looks at the status of my other beeminders to automatically determine status of the metabeeminder goal.

Allow the user to select from options such as sum of goal values, number of on-track beeminders, or number of derailments. Then allow the user to select which of their beeminder goals are included.

As an example of a case I would use it for, I lift weights. I have a beeminder which I use to keep track of the total weight of my bench press, deadlift, and squat. I fill it in…

  8. When I view a goal on the webapp the green/blue/(maybe other colours if I'm bad?) "time left" box is just a solid field devoid of text, until I add data, at which point it populates with the text of the countdown, briefly showing the pre-addition-of-data-time and then immediately updating to the post-addition time.

I presume this is a bug. The expected behaviour would be to show the countdown on initial page render even before any action is taken on the page.

  11. When reviewing my goals I find I click on one, then back, then the next, then back, etc. It'd be great to be able to click from one goal to the next.

Also, equivalent keyboard shortcuts like left/right arrow would be great.

  13. I've set all my goals to only send reminders on eep days and I keep expecting new goals I create to behave to same but they don't.

I would like to be able to change the default reminder schedule so that I don't have to set it up every time I create a goal.

I stopped using beeminder the first time because of too many email reminders so I aggressively cut it down to eep days but inevitably I forget to change it on new goals, which adds noise to my inbox when I receive non-eep emails (which I confusedly…

  15. Let's say I have a fitbit goal to walk 10,000 steps a day.

Then maybe my fitbit breaks, but I find that my phone will count my steps that I take with it through the day, so I want to start entering manually based on that number.

I should be able to go to my goal and switch from using fitbit to update that goal's progress to removing fitbit from the goal and entering it manually.

On the flip side, if I start by entering my steps manually based on the value from my phone, then get a fitbit, I…

  16. If I am going on a holiday, I have to schedule breaks individually in all my beeminder goals. I would like the ability to "mass add" breaks in all my goals by specifying a from date & to date for all my goals in one place.

  17. I do my various goals at different times of the day. Very often in a particular sequence. Like (1) work out after I wake up, then (2) do my must do task, then (3) learn something new etc.. and end the day with (n) go to bed by 10pm. If I could see my goals in my sequence in beeminder, I could run my day from my beeminder goal "dashboard"

  18. For several of my goals, I am measuring units of work which must be entered as integers (e.g. changing my dyson vacuum filters, calling my uncle, or ice cubes fed to my orchid).

Beeminder doesn't know I can't do less than 1 of these, so it tells me that I need to call my uncle 0.0011 times in the next 18 days, or that I need to change my vacuum filters 0.011 times in the next 9 days.

With the setting I am suggesting, Beeminder would display "1 in the next X days" for these types of goals.

  19. Google keep is another lightweight todo list manager where you create checklists and check them off. One simple integration might be to count the number of google keep lists (perhaps filtered by tag) that are completed.

  20. Allow automatically adding datapoints to more than one goal at a time (esp. if it also allows transformations).

Examples: Work projects for which I want to track the hours worked as both "Hours Worked" and "Hours on Project P". That way I could enter the datapoint in "Hours on Project P" and it would automatically be entered into "Hours Worked"

    e.g. #2
Have "Difference in weight" goal (like "chipmanaged's goal here: https://www.beeminder.com/chipmanaged/goals/difference) but that is populated by a transformation of the datapoint entered into the "weight" goal, so that you can enter the datapoint for yourself, but share the…
